Inetglobal: Us Government On The Edge Of An International Incident-Open Letter To Us President Barack Obama From International Inetglobal Members

In an Washington Times story, titled, "China holds more U.S. debt than indicated," (2009), (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/mar/02/chinas-debt-to-us-treasury-more-than-indicated/) recent government reports that China's holdings of U.S. Treasury debt declined during the second half of last year, the Asian economic giant almost certainly owns far more Treasury securities than official statistics indicate.

After peaking at $801.5 billion, China's holdings of U.S. Treasury securities declined to $755.4 billion at the year's end, dropping the communist power into the position of second-largest holder of Treasury debt after Japan's $768.8 billion, official government data reveal.

My argument is,  it's obvious that the Chinese people clearly understand economics, business and are excellent organizers of commerce.

The Chinese culture is vast, rooted in traditions passed down generation-to-generation. Not to be stereotypical, but the Chinese have an unlimited knowledge about the Internet and how it works. A Internet savvy group of people who in ancient times were Warlords and Emperors while we (Western Civilization) were sheepherders. For any "American Government" official to treat the Chinese members as if they are "victims" who unwillingly didn't know how to use a computer; speak english or what the Internet was is a heinous act of racism, stereotyping and shameful profiling.

iNetGlobal provides tools for small business on an international level, geo-targeted to any location in the world. This is why over 85% of the 70,000 are of Asian decent. iNetGlobal products including V-Local (A Global business directory): V-Webcast (A Global video conferencing service); and V-Newswire (A press release service able to pinpoint and deliver real-time news and information anywhere on earth), was over-looked by US Government agents who don't have the experience or Internet knowelgde to understand, "iNetGlobal the company, has delivered successful results with its products and services worldwide - no different than Google, Yahoo, Bing or YouTube.

The international community of Chinese iNetGlobal members has written and letter to US President Barak Obama.

Here, published for the first time, it reads as follows: (unedited)

Dear President Obama:

We are sending you this letter to make you aware of a legal matter against a local Minneapolis based internet marketing business, iNetGlobal. The company has been accused by the Government and the Secret Service of running an illegal business or Ponzi scheme. This is completely False and without merit.

iNetGlobal runs an honest legitimate business providing internet services to tens of thousands of small businesses, and an opportunity for tens of thousands of people to make a living by selling these services.

We the customer and members of iNetGlobal want to express our opinion toward the ongoing court case against the company. We feel that the people responsible for the accusations toward iNetGlobal do not fully understand the assets or services this company provides.

Interestingly enough, the investigation was started after an angry, disgruntled former CEO, Steve Keough, who right after he was fired, made a false report to the Secret Service. This was after only 7 weeks of employment, he attempted blackmailing iNetGlobal to pay him $500,000 and they refused. His selfishness has led to the waste of government resources, member's consumer rights, as well as the company's reputation by false accusations.

The facts in the case that the authorities are using to start the investigation against iNetGlobal do not have merit and there are major structural problems in the investigation in itself. This investigation has caused our business operations to halt and has thrown dozens of employees off work and affected tens of thousands of independent reps off the field across the country. Our company does not have time on its side to withstand a lengthy court process which we are entangled in now, and that's why we are asking for your office to intervene in the matter.

We, as the members of this company, have learnt progressively since day one through e-conference and online seminars to fully acknowledge the different components of iNetGlobal. After all, knowledge is product, and the company is well structured like an online university. Our members understand that the company does not provide a shortcut to wealth, but merely a proven business model that offer its members the opportunity to conduct e-business via the internet. In our opinion, iNetGlobal is not only among the best online advertising platform for all the business around the world, but it is also the bridge to link international businesses to explore and expand into different markets.

In a recent Minneapolis news article, "investigators allege that iNetGlobal sells few, if any, real services. Instead, they say, the company makes money by continually enrolling new customers, or "members," into a marketing club." Again, this is completely False!

In this age of high technology, iNetGlobal provide the ultimate platform for online advertising by using the combined effort of members to create respectable web traffic. The web traffic then promotes the value of advertisements for numerous small businesses to improve sales.

The company also offers a variety of Internet services such as web site hosting, domain name registration, internet business education as well as online advertising. Small business owners who otherwise did not have the financial or technical ability to setup their online marketing for their business now have the ability to broadcast their business to the world.

Using Internet services from iNetGlobal, small companies can save on tangible expenses such as rental and employment cost while reducing the cost of their own Internet services. We believe that our company will become the next giant in the Internet business, next to Google and Yahoo as we are growing at an exponential rate.

Upon filing this case, part of the government's argument toward the company as being illegal was because most of the members were Chinese, and that Chinese people cannot understand the product and services of the company. This argument is Racist, and an Insult to the Chinese people, and is so ridiculous to the point where no further explanation is needed on the particular issue.

In brief, in the United States, iNetGlobal has solved the problem of employment for roughly 75 men and women locally here in Minnesota, as well as providing an opportunity for thousands of Americans who are willing to work hard to make a living and enjoy the American Dream. We are currently voicing our thoughts through more than 4000 letters in support for iNetGlobal. Now, if the company was a hoax, would we have support from all across the globe to aid on this dispute? The answer is clear and obvious.

iNetGlobal should be viewed as a major asset to this great country of ours as it consistently pours millions of dollars in revenue into the local Minnesota and the US economy monthly, while paying millions of dollars in state and federal taxes.

This should be a vital decision making criteria for you to help us with the issue.  Now, with the devastating withholding of business activities and funds, the government has let her people down as hard working Americans and others are facing the hardship of unemployment. We as customers and members cannot understand why the US government will strip the reputation of an emerging star such as iNetGlobal. In the mean time, we hope this letter can bring justice to this case and we will continue to show support for iNetGlobal.

Please take a look into this case and find out what is really going on here in Minneapolis, with this horrible thing our government is doing to the over 70,000 Customers, Sales Consultants, and Employees of iNetGlobal, and help us to right this terrible injustice.

Regards,

iNetGlobal Customers and Members

If another country was holding that much debt for you, would you pay close attention to what's really going on? The Chinese people in China and around the world demand action in the case of iNetGlobal.

This "Alien" deck is too bad... Except that Rivalry of Warlords can backfire if you don't have any monsters to bring out and Limit Reverse can leave your monster wide open for your opponent to deal some large damage if he has a high ATK monster. Try to include "Spirit Barrier" so that you won't take damage and you may want to include some monsters with better ATK.

Can you also rate my deck, please?

Science Fiction in Radio

Science Fiction in Radio

Some would argue that Science Fiction is as old as civilization itself as humans gazed up to the stars and wondered, "what if…"

Precursors of the Science Fiction

At the beginning of the 20th century amid the Industrial Revolution, Science Fiction was coming into its own.  Many short stories by Science Fiction writers such as Jules Verne were commonly included in regular adventure and pulp magazines.  In 1926 Hugo Gernsback founded the first American magazine dedicated exclusively to the emerging genre of Science Fiction called "Amazing Stories."  The pulp magazine "Amazing Stories" featured stories by well-known Science Fiction writers including H. G. Wells, Jules Verne, and Edgar Allen Poe but also introduced new authors and serials to the public.

Early Science Fiction on the Airwaves

The most memorable s science fiction old time radio from the 1930s was Orson Welles War of the Worlds on Mercury Theater aired on Halloween (October 30, 1938).  This broadcast had a phenomenal impact on the nation because Welles blurred the lines between fiction and fact, essentially convincing America that the Martians were invading.

The Role of Science Fiction Authors

In 1938, John Campbell was given the reins of "Astounding" magazine and moved it into a new direction where he stressed hard science fiction.  He attracted some of the best science fiction writers of the era including Isaac Asimov, Theodore Sturgeon, Lester del Rey, A. E. Van Vogt, and many more.  Asimov in particular was influential in the progress of Science Fiction writing.

Earliest Attempts at Science Fiction Drama

Radio was slow to produce a series dedicated to serious adult science fiction drama with the first show dedicated to Science Fiction airing in 1950.  There were some attempts at science fiction on Escape, Suspense, Lights Out and others.  An earnest attempt in sort of science fiction radio show includes little known and very rare Latitude Zero in 1941.  Some argue that that Beyond Tomorrow written by Robert Heinlein was the first Science Fiction show aimed for adults, with the first episode created on February 23, 1950.  However, Beyond Tomorrow was dropped after three episodes and credit for the first adult science fiction series is often given to 2000 Plus.

New Juvenile Radio Shows

When Science Fiction expanded into adult fiction, the wonder of science fiction didn't leave the juvenile market.  Radio shows like Planet Man, Space Patrol, Captain Starr, and Tom Corbett continues to delight young audiences.  The newer science fiction juvenile radio shows followed a similar format to their processors Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers.

Planet Man (1950) features galaxy patrolman Dantro to keep peace in space.  Dantro fights aggressive evil warlords such Marston, the ruler of Mars.  Planet Man has a scientist sidekick Dr. John Darrow and he is also aided by John's daughter Pat, nephew and niece Billy and Jane, and his engineer Slats.

Space Patrol (1950-1955) also featured a law enforcement subtext in an outer space themed show.  Buzz Corey, commander-in-chief of the Space Patrol.  His "golly-gee" sidekick was Hissidekick was Cadet Happy and Carol Karlyle gave the space ship Terra V a feminine touch.  Of course, there were space bad guys, manly evil geniuses and aliens warlords such Mister Proteus, Dr. Ryland Scarno, The Black Falcon, the beautiful but evil Tonga.  The show was a hit both on the air and on the tube.

Tom Corbett Space Cadet (1952)became a science fiction television show in 1950—two years before it hit the radio airwaves.  And like Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon, Tom Corbett Space Cadet began as a comic strip.  Tom Corbett piloted space ship Polaris, whose crew includes scientist Roger Manning (Jan Merlin), Astro the alien from Venus, Dr. Joan Dale and Captain Strong.  Like Dimension X, Tom Corbett Space Cadet was a smart well produced show which used fantastic sound effects.

The Height of Science Fiction Old Time Radio

Many science fiction enthusiasts consider 1950-1960 to be the Golden Era of Science Fiction.  Indeed this is the decade when the best Science Fiction old time radio was created.  At the same time American's non-fiction world was filled with "duck and cover" exercises, red scare, McCarthyism, and the fears of a Soviet invasion or nuclear annihilation.  To many, science fiction with aliens allowed audiences to play out the fantasy of invasion by substituting Communists for aliens.

Exploring Tomorrow (1957-1958) was created towards the end of the 1950s decade.  Acclaimed editor of "Astounding Magazine," John Campbell, produced and hosted Exploring Tomorrow with the aid of some of his best contributing writers.  According to "Astounding Magazine," the series was billed as the "first science fiction old time radio show of science-fictioneers, by science- fictioneers, and for science-fictioneers."  With Campbell at the reins, Exploring Tomorrow was a well-constructed show with elevated concepts and great stories.  Campbell's introductions are thoughtful and provocative.

X Minus One (1955-1958), the science fiction anthology series, was considered to be the revival show of Dimension X featuring adopted science fiction stories.   X-Minus One was truly the greatest of not only science fiction radio shows but of all radio dramas.  The first shows were duplicated from the original Dimension X, later the producers pulled ideas for shows from the pages of "Galaxy Magazine."  Like Dimension X, X-Minus One used some of the leading science fiction authors in the genre including Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Robert A. Heinlein, Frederik (Fred) Pohl and Theodore Sturgeon, Robert Sheckley, J. T. McIntosh, Fritz Leiber and many more.  Some shows ended unhappily such as "The Cold Equation" and an adaptation of Ray Bradbury's "Mars in Heaven" where earthmen land on Mars to discover it's inhabited by people they know.  Remarkably, all episodes of X-Minus One survive.

British Science Fiction Serials

Science fictioneers across the pond in Great Britain also made attempts at the science fiction radio drama that were great indeed.  Two surviving shows are serials, Orbit One-Zero and Journey into Space.  Although much of the time in Journey into Space is spent opening and closing airlock doors, the plot line is exciting and the acting superb with unique characters.

End of Science Fiction on Radio

When Russian scientists launched Sputnik in 1957, science fiction became more of a science actuality.  Inventions thought to only be in science fiction like rockets, televisions, and computers were becoming a reality.  The future of entertainment was on televisions that were more ubiquitous in American households and the golden age of science fiction left the airwaves.  Luckily many of these recordings were preserved for enjoyment today. Many science fiction old time radio shows survived in completion including Dimension X and X-Minus One.

"A good science fiction story should be able to predict not the automobile but the traffic jam."
