Question for left leaning liberals?
Most of you claim to oppose the death penalty saying that's it's unconstitutional or that it's murder or that "two wrongs don't make a right" and etc.
However, none of you made a peep about Tim McVeigh's execution. No candlelit vigils, nobody howling "The death penalty is murder", no protests of any kind.
Now before your head explodes, I am not defending Tim McVeigh. In fact I think the SOB got off too easy. I'm just using him to make a point.
Doesn't the liberals' silence over his execution prove that they aren't against the death penalty itself, they're only against it when it's imposed on certain people who they consider on their side and that their opposition to it is purely political, not moral?
If you were truly against it, you'd protest for everyone no matter who they are.
For those mentioning the small protests that occurred, notice how I said MOST.
