Butt Ugly Squeeze Pages
Butt ugly squeeze pages are like little oil wells.
They may be unsightly but when you own one... you'll want to show it to everyone you meet.
Squeeze pages are marvelous inventions, because with a simple two or three page website you can build an email list you can market to that will provide you with push-button-simple-profits for years to come.
But people have all the wrong ideas about squeeze pages...
Ever been to a marketing seminar or convention? Ever heard someone bragging about how they spent over $10,000 on their website, or paid top dollar for their fancy squeeze pages? People fall for expensive websites that they don't need every day. It's sad, but you have to laugh (or else you'll cry).
The next time you hear someone talking about how beautiful their graphics are, or how stylish the programming is, feel free to bring them down to earth with the most evil question you can ask in that kind of a situation:
"So, How's That Converting For You?" (If you're feeling really evil, you can ask "How long did it take you to get positive ROI on those squeeze pages?" - chances are, they haven't made their investment back yet and won't for a long, long time).
The trick to good squeeze pages from what I've seen in at least 5 different major markets is "butt ugly" simplicity.
You can write this down: "The best squeeze pages are 90% white space"...
That means, no pictures on your squeeze pages (no exceptions, unless you're running a split test). It also means, no video. No audio. Nothing but some brief text, and an optin form.
Squeeze pages are supposed to do one simple thing for you:
They build your list.
And that means, for every 100 visitors you get to your squeeze pages, you want to be capturing as many as possible.
The less you give people to object to, the less objections they'll think of. (You can write that down too).
Think about it this way:
Pretend I'm a random visitor and I go to any one of your squeeze pages. When I get there, I see a picture of you, a nice big headline, and a set of bullets telling me why I should opt in. Unfortunately for you, I might decide (Before reading more than a few words) that I just don't like the look of your face (people make snap judgements like that online every day).
On the other hand, if the only thing I can see other than eye friendly white space is a good reason to give you may email address and a place to do so, then there's a great chance I'm going to.
So there you have it.
The reason why butt ugly squeeze pages (that you can easily make by yourself with a few simple steps) outperform the fanciest, glitziest, most expensive squeeze pages money can buy.
The same thing is true for fancy graphics. some people are going to see the graphical choices you made and judge you. To them, your fancy $10,000 graphics on squeeze pages look terrible. There's no accounting for taste.
But for one reason or another I keep finding that simple, white - butt ugly squeeze pages with just some text and an optin box work wonders.
I hope you're a convert, and I expect to see butt ugly squeeze pages on your website soon (even if you don't have one yet).

Why the hell cant i post on the marvel forums?
Everytime i press reply or start new thread, all it does is refresh the page. Then right now i just discovered, i'm not logged in! But i cant log in, pressing sign in or register only refreshes the page. What's funny is if i go to the digital comics section, i am infact logged in and able to view the digital comics archive as per my subscription.
What the hell is this? This is stupid.
They have a bad server problem or bug.
Maybe your account makes problems or your browser is not suitable and stable.
I guess it`s just a server mistake.

Instead of allowing his invaluable automobile collection to accumulate dust, Andrea Levy has decided to give the keys to his wheels away. The Italian Ferrari aficionado has created a driving experience throughout the same countryside where his favorite brand of cars is crafted. As the CEO of Red Travel, a leading destination management company
in Italy, Andrea and his team have created a variety of luxury tour experiences.
Red Travel offers even the most perspicacious travelers a taste of Italy through a chauffeured limousine ride, yacht cruise or self-driven Ferrari tour. Andrea says the most popular of them all is the five-day tour Ferrari through the countryside of Florence and Tuscany.
As the CEO of Red Travel, a leading destination management company in Italy, Andrea and his team have created a variety of luxury tour experiences. Andrea says the most popular of them all is the five-day Florence and Tuscany tour.
For a 10,000 EURO (approximately $14,000) down payment, Red Travel has packaged together a Gran Turismo driving experience throughout Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Tuscany. The tour was designed to showcase the authentic Italian lifestyle with fashion, art, food and the history of Ferrari.
During the tour, guests will drive various Ferrari models, including the 458, California and F430 Spider. The cars will cruise along the same path of the famed Mille Miglia races that date back to 1927.
Levy, author of "Red Travel - Tuscana in Ferrari," was adamant about creating an adventure with the renowned luxury car as the central focus.
"Throughout the years [the Ferrari] has always maintained its imposing charm, remaining as the inaccessible dream, available to a select few," says Andrea, who maintains a relationship with the Ferrari management team.
With the guidance of Red Travel tour operators, guests will drive the latest Ferrari models, unwind at Tuscan spas and marvel at architectural history. The tour operators will show guests the Italian roads, and assure every detail on the trip is perfect. Andrea is determined to show his guests that the Ferrari is the perfect car to take this journey in.
"Ferrari is not only a luxury sports car, it's pure lifestyle," says the Red Travel CEO. "It represents the Italian style in the world, the glamour and the jet set."
Although Andrea is convinced that he has created a structure that will appeal to car enthusiasts everywhere, the experience also has a bespoke element. Guests can design their own itineraries to include golf, yachting, hot-air ballooning, shopping trips, cooking lessons and wine tastings.
"[We are] providing our guests with the dream of driving through unique sceneries, incomplete safety," Andrea says.
With the rise of luxury driving experiences, the Ferrari supporter has dedicated his company to creating the ultimate Ferrari adventure.
"We love to say that a tour with Red Travel is more than a journey," Andrea says. "It's a real experience!"
