Glee Season 2 Episode 19
Summary: The new school year finds the glee club with new members (Charice and Chord Overstreet), new romances, new rivals, and a guest appearance by Britney Spears.. Season 2 of Glee premieres on September 21, but today I was a very lucky girl and got an opportunity to watch the premiere episode early (don't hate me!). The real question is whether the second season measures up to the expectations set by the first season of Fox's new hit show. The answer is yes.and no. But primarily yes. The premiere episode isn't as memorable as the Madonna episode, but it gets the season going in a humorous manner. We're thrust right back into a new year at McKinley High, with new relationships, characters and routines. I'm going to do my best not to give outright spoilers here, but let me wet your appetites for more. Introducing...Season 2! The first four minutes of the new season are flat-out hilarious. We're brought up to speed on what happened over the summer - Quinn's recovery from the baby drama, Rachel and Finn's new relationship, Brittany's summer escapades - in a manner that you'll want to see as the opening recap for every new episode. Like with the previous season, the ultimate goal - Nationals this time - is set up from moment one. The team will eventually head to New York to complete with other glee clubs and try to take the title this year. White Boys CAN Rap? The location of Nationals is the cue for a rousing outdoor performance of "Empire State of Mind", proving that the gang's still got it. Arnie, Finn and Puck rap their way through the song as Mercedes lends her soulful voice to the chorus and you can see a promo for the new season here with shots of the performance.
Can they help McKinley's New Directions, which last year fell short at the regional competition, make it to the nationals in the Big Apple and defeat arch rival Vocal Adrenaline? Maybe. The other McKinley newcomer is a female gridiron coach with a winning record, who quickly proves a formidable rival for "Cheerios" chief Sue (Emmy-winner Jane Lynch). Coach Shannon Beiste (pronounced "beast" because "it's French," she helpfully explains) wants the school budget to put football ahead of cheerleading. That won't do for Sue, who enlists Will in a plot to undermine Beiste (an effective Dot Marie Jones). A "female football coach is like a male nurse: sin against nature," snarls Sue. Coach Beiste doesn't quite have the hang of trash talk, telling Sue, "You're all coffee and no omelet." Quarterback-singer Finn (Cory Monteith) becomes an inadvertent victim of the faculty clash and has to cope with the fallout while nurturing his reignited romance with Rachel. Finn's former love, Quinn (Dianna Agron) is back in pre-pregnancy form and ready to reclaim her spot as Cheerios queen bee. Santana (Naya Rivera), meanwhile, is finding that the quest for physical perfection comes at a price. In its first year, Glee neatly combined music, edgy humour and coming-of-age poignancy. As long as pain doesn't eclipse the show's charm, viewers will still have something to sing about as the season unfolds. Remember when 'Glee' (8PM ET Tuesday, Fox) was the TV equivalent of a toddler -- mischievous, fresh, unpredictable and kind of adorable? How quickly they grow up. In the second half of the show's first season, as the hype reached fever pitch, 'Glee' had become the TV equivalent of a teenager -- tart and capable of sweetness, sure, but also frequently possessed by wild mood swings, identity crises and infected with an increasingly not-adorable sense of entitlement.

What is the value of Giant Size X-Men 1?
Overstreet? Wizard?
A 6.5 copy? A 7.0 copy? Non CGC. Will a CGC grading improve on that value.
Does anyone know why the Comics Price Guide website doesn't have this book listed?
Here's the listing at comicspriceguide.com. It's hidden under the listing for the Uncanny X-Men 1963 series - there's a link for Giant-Size. (You'll need an account at cbg to view the prices, but you probably already knew that.)
http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-indiv.aspx?FDSo4yyowMw7p%2f1V4r%2fJJ2f7cNUzVcytPZlpT%2bjqc7i9UV3NQ5%2fOR9syuGHF9KltmtLhJvQ9aI276gdQ5CDnSg%3d%3d
CGCing will probably improve value but it's not guaranteed.

PHOENIX (AP) — Forty years ago, the All-Star game really was played by stars. Back then, 18 future Hall of Famers took the field at Tiger Stadium. This year, 16 All-Stars backed out of Tuesday night's desert showdown. Some are seriously injured.
