Find Amazing Original Vector Art Images for Your Designs
Are you a web designer? Do you work with vector art? Do you need ideas for your new print or your new graphic concept? Or are you just looking for original artwork? If you said "yes" to any of these questions then this article is definitely for you. A professional graphic designer doesn't build a graphic project from scratch. He needs hundreds of graphic elements, graphic collections and illustrations in order to form a high quality artistic image. In this article I'm going to show you a great way of finding amazing and original vector images with a license.
Vector images are created with software such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator and have the advantage of being easily editable and can be scaled to any resolution with zero quality loss (unlike the bitmaps). That's why vector images are the favorite format for graphic designers. Finding a collection of vector files suitable for your new graphic project (could be a design for a website, for a magazine, for an advertising campaign, or for an artistic project) isn't easy. Browsing the web you'll find a lot of free vector art collections, free images, but these are hardly sufficient for a great design. And most of them aren't even licensed.
When you create a print for an advertising campaign you're going to need all the legal aspects covered so you'll need copyright or license for the graphic elements you're going to use in your design. Buying vector art is a solution. But why spend so much money? And where to find good prices? You don't have to spend a lot of money and you don't have to look for a place with good prices because I'm going to recommend you the best place for that particular issue. What if I'd tell you that you could buy a large vector file with an entire collection for merely 33 cents. What if I'd tell you that there is an online database of millions of images and vector files organized in relevant categories and each one has a complete description and keywords for quick searches.
This database is a microstock. Microstocks are websites with millions of photos, illustrations and vector files. Every microstock grows daily with thousands of new images added to their database. Most of these websites sell vector images from $1 to $20 each with a royalty-free license. And the best way is to make a subscription and pay 33 cents per vector file. How do I prevent illegal downloads of my original artwork?
I don't know how it's done, but embed a watermark into your art. When someone tries to copy it, a big "SAMPLE" or COPYRIGHT 2007" appears in the picture, basically ruining it artistically.
