How much of a difference do you feel between a one piece and two piece?
I normally use one-piece sticks, but i've been thinking of switch to two-piece sticks because it comes out much cheaper.
Are there any negative effects to using a two-piece stick? Such as less feel or weaker shots?
I've never seen any problems as far as two piece sticks are concerned. To my experiences, the two piece sticks are generally easier to fix and cost considerably lower than buying a brand new one piece altogether; I've saved probably about $400-$500 from the two piece just on the blade of the stick alone.
going to the comfort level, there is a slight difference. Two piece have a typically (but slight) weaker shot because of the vibration with the ice, isn't clean, which just a little can throw off the balance. But to some people that's all that matters. I felt that I made much better passes because of the 2 piece. So the breakdown
