Half Man Half Tree or Genetc Mutation Now Science Fact

Is it really possible to be half man and half tree? High school chemistry tells me otherwise despite seeing what can be accomplished in science fiction movies. Dede Kosawa of Indonesia has developed a wart-like disease which resembles the twists, turns and colors of tree roots and outer bark.

Is it really possible to be half man and half tree? High school chemistry tells me otherwise despite seeing what can be accomplished in science fiction movies. Dede Kosawa of Indonesia has developed a wart-like disease which resembles the twists, turns and colors of tree roots and outer bark. It really is an interesting sight to see but perhaps a bit premature to diagnosis him "half tree."

The warts need to be biopsied by a legitimate and renowned hospital so that its findings will be credible. Until then, we can only hypothesize on the details. Technically, both plants and animals have remarkably close DNA. They are made of nucleotides which when sequenced within the trademarked double helix shape will craft and create an organism. This is a blue print to the life of the organism.

For that reason, halves of two different kingdoms (kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species) could not chemically survive. This can be seen in the issues surrounding organ transplantation. Even if an organ is transplanted correctly from a cadaver to a live human being, the question is whether or not the new host will accept or reject the tissue. Now imagine if someone were to take the bio-material of a bonsai tree and somehow bind it to someone with gigantism in hopes of having them shrinking. It isn't even logical in the sci-fi realm.

Keeping in mind that organ transplants are a relatively new procedure being introduced to the world in the 1950's, it is possible that a rogue scientist or a grouping of like minded individuals have been engineering DNA in such a way as it could be farmed and bonded to a double helix in an effort to mutate an organism. But this is treading down the path of the X-Men and until such a time as that is something found in common reality, it simply can not be considered science fact.

XMen Reload

XMen Reload

$66.91

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles XMen ReLoad was the name given by Marvel Comics to their May 2004 revamp of the XMen titles. The revamp was prompted by Grant Morrisons departure from New XMen, as well as a general sense that the XMen titles were not selling as well as they could be. As a result of the revamp, Chris Claremont moved from writing XTreme XMen to writing Uncanny XMen, with Alan Davis doing the art. Chuck Austen moved from writing Uncanny XMen to New XMen, which returned to its old name of simply XMen, with Salvador Larroca, who had been working with him on Uncanny XMen doing the art. Finally, Joss Whedon entered as the writer of the new title Astonishing XMen, with John Cassaday doing the art. XTreme XMen was cancelled. Also, the XMen returned to more traditional (if not slightly revised) costumes, as opposed to the black leather uniforms from the movies. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles XTreme XMen was a comic book published by Marvel Comics from 2001 through 2004. All 46 issues of the series were written by Chris Claremont. Prior to this revamp, Claremont was writing both of the main XMen titles. He was removed from both core Xtitles by EditorinChief Joe Quesada when his storylines fell apart due to editorial interference by the previous editorinchief in a failed attempt to capitalize on the first XMen movie. Quesada offered Claremont the opportunity to write only one of the core Xtitles (while allowing new Xwriter Grant Morrison to have partial storyline input) or to write a third, new core XMen title. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles XMen: The Hidden Years was a comic book series set in the Marvel Comics universe, which starred the companys popular superhero team, the XMen. The series was intended to fill in the teams chronology during the reprint issues of the original XMen series (#6793). According to Byrne, the series was clearly finite, since GiantSize XMen #1] was out there as an end point for my series, but the way I had it worked out, I could have easily done 100 issues or more before I had to send the team off to Krakoa. Hidden Years featured the cast of the original XMen and their villains, with a few appearances by characters who had not otherwise appeared at that point in time, such as Storm. Yet To Release Much Anticipated Films of 2011

2010 has been one hell of an year with amazing films being released in theatres worldwide! But 2011, has much more and much BETTER in stock for film freaks. A long list of sequels from the blockbusters of 2009 and 2010 just adds to the excitement! Below is the list of much anticipated films of 2011 yet to be released:

  1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 : The wizarding journey finally comes to an end bringing Harry Potter and Voldemort together to fight an epic battle in which only ONE, will survive. The quality of the Harry Potter films has been well maintained ever since the first instalment was released a decade ago! So come July 15, sit back, and enjoy the finale of the epic battle of the wizarding world ;)
  2. Sherlock Holmes : A Game Of Shadows : You may not have seen the first part, but the sequel will surely be worth watching. It brings back the one and only Robert Downey Jr reprising the role of Sherlock Holmes who along with his sidekick, Dr. Watson (Jude Law) join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty.
  3. Cowboys And Aliens : Now this film isnt a sequel, but the very name of the film makes you wonder what the film would be about. Well as the name suggests, the film is about a spaceship that arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region though a posse of cowboys are all that stand in their way. It stars the legend Harrison Ford and 007 Daniel Craig!
  4. Real Steel : Now we dont see Hugh Jackman play any role other than that of Wolverine, do we? Well here he is supposedly playing the role of a trainer. The film is a boxing drama set in the near-future where 2,000-pound robots that look like humans do battle. Sounds exciting huh? For all those robo fans, do watch this movie!
  5. Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon : After two successful films in the Transformers series, director Michael Bay has come out with the 3rd installment, Dark of the moon with executive producer Steven Spielberg. The film synopsis is that the Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers' final battle.
  6. Apollo 18 : The very interesting sci-fi thriller about the mission to the moon that no one ever heard about,Apollo 18tells the story of NASA's mission to space in the 1970s that everyone thought was canceled. The tagline, "There's a Reason We've Never Gone Back to the Moon" creates curiosity and the urge to know what actually happened, which you can know, ONLY by watching the film ;)
  7. Mission Impossible : Ghost Protocol : Tom Cruise is BACK after quite sometime in the role which he played in all previous installments, that of Ethan Hunt. Much about the story isnt known yet, but what everyone is curious to know is, will he survive this mission? ;)
  8. X-Men: First Class: For all wolverine fans, do not watch this film, as Hugh Jackman isnt part of the X-Men crew this time, as X-Men: First Classis a prequel based in the 1960s and tells the story of young Erik Lehnsherr and Charles Xavier as they meet and recruit other mutants to form the first X-Men and explore their different views on humanity.
  9. Green Lantern: The film is about the lesser known DC superhero, the Green Lantern, played by Ryan Reynolds. There have been questions regarding its first trailer, something related to the costume. Lets see what Warner Bros, DCE can bring in this superhero space opera!
  10. Your Highness: This R-rated fantasy adventure is about Prince Fabious' (James Franco) attempt to rescue kidnapped bride while hilarity ensues over the adventure. He is aided by a skilled warrior Isabel (Natalie Portman) and Fabious' lazy useless brother Thadeous (Danny McBride). Lets hope this film is one hell of a comedy!

These are the much anticipated films of 2011 along with a few others too such as : Cars 2, The Muppets, Immortals and Captain America: The First Avenger !
