The Expendables DVD Has One of The Greatest Action Movie Casts of All Time
The Expendables is the one true great action movie of 2010. The movie was made primarily in Rio De Janeiro Brazil, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. It hit movie theaters on August 13 with quite a buzz just because of the star studded cast. It even appeared number one at the box office the weekend it opened up around the country. The DVD and Blu Ray are scheduled to be released on November 23rd.
Can you ever think of any type of movie that had so many movie stars in it? OK maybe Oceans 11, 12 and 13 but that is about it. With the amount of money these action stars make these days, it had to be hard to convince many of them to come together for a smaller paycheck. For others like say Dolph Lungren and Steve Austin, I'm sure they just welcomed a paycheck no matter what size it was. Roles were also offered to Jean Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal but were "too good" to be in this movie because their roles weren't big enough and disagreements with the director Avi Lerner. Their loss! They missed out on the chance to be in the all time action movie with all the action stars from the past 2 decades. Take a look at the cast listed below.
The movie is about a taskforce of experienced mercenaries who have been called to get rid of a Latin American dictator named General Garza. They are commissioned by the mysterious Mr. Church to go to this small Latin American Island located between Mexico and Sound America. When they arrive they meet up with Sandra a local rebel leader where she unveils the truth about what is really going in this country. They weren't expected to survive this extremely dangerous mission, but leader Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) feels he must go.
Without giving away too much of the movie (you have to see if for yourself) you can image how the story goes. If you've ever seen an action movie you can image. Good guys win in the end.

What would you do to inconsiderate movie-goers?
What would you do in your wildest fantasies (or nightmares, to cinema jerks) to inconsiderate movie-goers? List your appropriate course of action to these film viewing goons:
1. People who don't switch their handphone off or put to silent (MAJOR nuisance!), which results in it ringing loudly during a poignant scene
2. People who talk loudly on their handphone
3. People who SMS, blinding you with the screen glare
4. Seat-kickers
5. Latecomers
6. Running commentators
7. Latecomers
8. Armrest hoggers
9. Squealing, giggling, laughing teenagers
10. Smelly or messy patrons (Ewww)
Now THIS should be interesting... ![]()
List an appropriate course of action for EACH movie-goer. Great answers, though! I'd like a .75 too, though in real-life, I would settle for a water pistol...
Throw popcorn at all of them!! : )
