Using Fruits and Vegetables for Health and Good Taste

Oranges, grapes, apples, bananas, blueberries and strawberries are AMONGST the fruits that one may very well find pleasing to taste. Think about how beneficial it would be to regularly use fruits and even vegetables that you'd consider to taste at least fairly good. Not only is the leasant experience something for you to look forward to on a regular basis, but there is also obviously the health benefits that one woudl gain from keeping such a habit up. Fruits and vegetables are very well used juiced, becaise supposedly since the digestive system works less more vitamins and minerals are utilized throughout the body.

Consider also the drastic effect that a habit like this could have on one's possible level of food craving. Not just having this as something to look forward to, but the very drinking or eating of these tasy foods is likely to significantly decrease the urge a person may have to overindulge in fats and sugars. Of course, considering fruits at least have a certain amount of sugar, you want to reasonably even limit the amount of those you eat or drink. But mainly for the long-term you could do an extraordinary favor for the health of your body by perhaps appreciating, or at least acknowlwdging the pleasant taste certain fruits and vegetables have to offer.

Make a list of fruits and possibly vegetables that stand out as tasting the best to you, and see if you can aim for having at least a little bit of each on an almost daily basis. Making these a primary part of your habitual eating or/and drinking havits is likely to give you variety. Perhaps you want to try something you've never tried before. Also, if you choose to juice a lot, be sure to see to it that there's enough water in the juicer for whatever fruit(s) you'd have in there, otherwise you might end up with more of a "slushy" result than a liquefied one. Some mixturees you might want to make regularly are an apple with a banana, and an entire celerg stick mixed with about a serving of broccoli and a erving of spinach. It's interesting to consider the mixture of benefits obviously that can come from one drink. The apple and banana mixture is one that you might find of considerably good taste. Consider the options.

The County Fair

The County Fair

$9.39

The annual County Fair sparks a flurry of activity and brings some surprising secrets to light in this heartwarming conclusion to Katherine Valentine's beloved Dorsetville series. It's the end of summer and Dorsetville folks are busier than bees. Days are filled from dawn to sunset with last-minute chores, while the women struggle to find time to prepare their special dishes in hopes of winning a coveted blue ribbon at the annual County Fair. As opening day of the fair draws near, folks have plenty to occupy their minds as well. Much to the chagrin of Father James, he has been chosen to help judge the apple pie contest; Matthew Metcalf worries about how to keep his girlfriend and pay for college at the same time; the Petersons welcome a long-awaited and newly adopted baby; and Hudson, Marion Holmes's butler, hopes to give his beloved employer a new reason to live by researching the parentage of a young boy who has just arrived in town along with the fair. The boy is a carbon copy of Marion's deceased son, William. Could he be the product of an old love affair between William and a girl whose uncle once owned a carnival? Before this mystery can be solved, however, the sheriff and the FBI must figure out before it's too late that the owner of the fair is planning to risk the lives of the fairgoers in order to hide a major drug deal he is taking part in. THE COUNTY FAIR is a wonderful continuation of the Dorsetville series, where good friends are never farther away than a handshake and God's intervention is as close as a prayer.

Born as Flora Yvonne Coleman in Richmond, Virginia, Fair got her start as a latterday member of the reformulated Chantels and the James Brown Revue. While performing with Brown, she recorded the song I Found You, which he later reworked into his own signature hit I Got You (I Feel Good). She signed to Motown Records in the early 1970s as a result of her work with Chuck Jackson and she appeared in a minor role as a chanteuse in the film, Lady Sings the Blues. The New World's Fair

The New World's Fair

$20.99

The Esoteric label finally gives the highly sought-after The New World's Fair album a proper remastering for this splendid reissue. The brainchild of science-fiction author Michael Moorcock, bassist Steve Gilmore, and guitarist Graham Charnock, Fair featured a host of guest players, among them members of Hawkwind and guitar hero Snowy White. It was a concept album, of course, a trek through a dystopian fun fair, a metaphor for society itself. It's a set that promised much, but delivers surprisingly little, with the lyrics and themes nowhere near as profound as Moorcock's reputation would dictate or fans' memories might suggest. Sure the "Fair Dealer" peddles dreams and illusions, drugs and rides, the "Candy Floss Cowboy" swaggers across the fairground, a precedent setter for President Bush, a hollow idol headed for the Valhalla of the ironic "You're a Hero." The teen-aged temptresses that haunt the fair are also headed for disaster on "Sixteen Year Old Doom," a rather heavy-handed retort to every rocker that ever celebrated a young girl's charms in song. Even more derivative is "In the Name of Rock and Roll," which lifted its downbeat theme from The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust. Finally the fairground begins careening towards destruction on "The Last Merry Go Round," reaching its demise on "Dude's Dream (Rolling in the Ruins)." However, the musicianship far surpasses the lyrical content, the album's saving grace. Musically, it's a heady concoction that stirs in a bit of glam, a few swirls of folk, a good dousing of R&B, and a dollop of metal. It's nowhere near as musically adventurous as one would expect from the cast, but surprisingly accessible and easily digestible. More of a fun fair then, than a rock your world exhibition. Esoteric sweetens the pot with seven bonus tracks, including a pair of previously unreleased demos. "Dodgem Dude"'s demo also appears here for the first time, the song, while intended for the Fair, finally hit the shops as a 1980 limited-edition 45. That too is included, alongside "Starcruiser" and "The Brothel in Rossenstrasse," which inspired Moorcock's book of the same title. ~ Jo-Ann Greene
