Can you still install other expansion packs when you have The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition?
It is because I saw in some of the trailers for The Sims 3's expansion pack videos "requires The Sims 3 or The Sims 3 Collector's Edition", and noticed that it doesn't includes The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition. What does that mean? Can I still have other expansion packs installed if I only have The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition?
Yes it will still work. The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition is just like having The Sims 3 base game and The Sims 3 Ambitions installed at the same time. So, basically, it's exactly the same as having The Sims 3 and The Sims 3: Ambitions expansion from separate discs.
As long as you have the space required, you can still install World Adventures, Late Night, Generations, High-End Loft Stuff, Fast Lane Stuff, and Outdoor Living Stuff. =)
