Inception Blu Ray Limited Edition Box Set
Inception was one of the biggest hits of 2010 and this latest intellectual thriller from Christopher Nolan is one of those rare movies that warrants re-watching over and over again. There is no doubt that Bu Ray will be the chosen format for watching this landmark film at home.
Fans, of which there are millions, will want to marvel at the mind-bending special effects in high definition, tap their feet to Hans Zimmer's thumping score and watch Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt race to the climactic conclusion. In HD fans can endlessly pause the final moments of the film to answer the ultimate question - does Cob's spinning top waver a little from its trajectory or is he stuck in a dream?
If you want the Ultimate Collectors experience of your ultimate viewing experience then you will have to check out the Limited Collector's Edition of the Blu Ray Inception release. The limited edition comes boxed in a steel briefcase and includes the Blu-ray disc and DVD of Inception as well as seven Art Cards, "The Cobol Job Comic,", a replica Spinning Top Totem, and a replica PASIV Device Instruction Manual (The PASIV device is the machine used to put people to sleep and monitor their dream-states).
This amazing edition is available in the UK, US and Australia, though there are rumors that the US edition was limited to 2000 pieces and sold out 24 hours after its release. If this is the case then you can be sure that it will command high prices on the secondary market, though smart US fans will no doubt buy a UK version and simply replace the UK Blu Ray Disc with a US compatible Disc.
There is a regular version of Inception on DVD and Blu ray as well. The Blu Ray copy comes as a triple play set - including the Blu Ray and DVD versions as well as a digital copy for playing on gadgets. Whichever copy of Inception fans decide on, the film will stand as one of the highlights of any collection and will be watched for many years to come.

i already preordered and payed off the regular game but i want to know how much the collectors edition might cost so i could just buy that instead. i have a phamplet that says it will come with the soundtrack and art. i could always move the preorder to another game anytime
well in New Zealand where I live new ps3/xbox360 games are around $100-120 when they're first released, I pre-ordered the collectorseditionn and it's gonna cost me $160. So I'd say probably about another $40 or so if your in australia or new zealand, $20 or so if your in america, and probably another 15-20 pounds if your in the uk.That's just my guess though, I don't know the exact exchange rates for everywhere. Although you could just find a online exchange rate thing and just convert 160 NZD (new zealand dollars) to whatever you wanted.

Artists Proofs and Limited Edition Collections
In recent years, fine art collectors have increasingly focused on acquiring quality limited edition photo prints deriving from work carried out in the pre-digital era. As in all collectors editions, the value of the investment is in the fact that each image is available in set numbers, so that once the edition is sold out, then logically the value increases over time. In the case of sought-after photographers, or sought-after iconic images such as for example in the rock and pop music world of the 60's and 70's, this has proved to be an interesting hunting-ground for the incidental and perennial art aficionados alike
Additional value is to be found in securing one of the limited numbers of artist proofs for any particular edition.
What is an Artist or Printers Proof?
When a photographer/ art-director/artist releases a new image as a limited edition print, test prints are made, often in different sizes or on different types of paper before an edition is created. These pre-edition prints are known as Artist Proofs (AP) or in some cases, Printer's Proofs (PP). Sometimes an AP is deliberated i.e. for a charity auction.
How many Astists Proofs are made?
An AP is approximately 10% of an edition i.e. if an edition is 50 there is likely to be 5 artist proofs and so on. If an edition is created by a company on behalf of an artist the company will usually give the artist a few APs as part of their royalty payment. The artist can then give them to friends or sell them themselves, usually in some customised way to distinguish them from the edition.
More commonly, once the edition is sold out, these numbered or un-numbered Artist Proofs are sold for an end-of-edition price. Being customised or rare they are highly collectable depending on the reputation of the photographer.
In the pre-digital era, photographers used to supply prints, usually 10 x 8 prints known as "glossies" to newspapers. Record companies also produced them by the 100s to give to fans and the press. These prints surface from time to time, sometimes signed by the artists, in auction sales, but they are not artist proofs or editions. In the digital era prints are no longer required for reproduction purposes and most digital images will never be seen as prints unless they are specially made for a friend, an exhibition or produced as an edition.
