Without a Paddle - Adventure Story
Three friends from childhood, and (Seth Green), Jerry (Matthew Lillard) and Tom (Dax Shepard), meet again when attending a funeral they compatriot pal, Billy. In honor of Billy, this triumvirate desperate to continue the ideals of the deceased to find a treasure trove D. B. Cooper, a man who allegedly managed to bring the dollar falls much when his ship was hijacked in 1971.
Based on the maps made by the deceased, 3 were 30 of these young men soon to travel to inland Oregon. With the attributes of a modern city, Dan, Jerry and Tom also have a variety of new experiences in the area of forest, mountain and river. However, their adventure is not easy because they have to face the "residents" of forest, river rapids, bears, sexy girls who live in trees, and two marijuana growers who continue to hunt and a grudge against them.
A glimpse of this light adventure story reminiscent of Deliverance or River Wild movie that tends to struggle gripping. But, Without a Paddle a full specially cultivated for the genre of comedy, obviously do not have the elements of tension and suspense as two films earlier. With illustrations entertainment relaxing music works that fit perfectly Christopher Beck, Without a Paddle refresh viewers eye through the image and very beautiful Oregon scenery.
Especially for this, cameraman Jonathan Brown clearly the most credit worthy of its own. But unfortunately, this music and camera factor alone is a point lebir from Without a Paddle. The rest, landing Steven Brill film comedy is really less funny, is not fresh, pretty boring.
Not anything, this movie had started annoying because initial motivation was to search for treasure has been less convincing. By profession and behavioral differences respectively, the three central figures here are too long-winded and can't impressed to think long and clearly in view the situation himself.
From the character recognition process such as this obviously makes the audience become less sympathy let alone live the adventures of Dan, Jerry and Tom. Exacerbated by the dialogues that are not important throughout the film, in the end 3 of this series is just showing ignorance and weakness, rather than attitude and smart thinking from figure 3 pratagonis that at least a few are expected to emerge by the audience.
Meanwhile, a series of action scenes was also on average very ordinary and does not provide new breakthroughs. Scene being chased by 2 men redneck marijuana grower in fact become an important channel leading to the more complicated search of treasure. However, director Steven Brill and the script writing team fails to present such a scene that sells it. Although there is a tense scene in the river that worked pretty good, overall Brill still not able to give a touch of constant entertainment.
Not to mention when considering the ridiculous scene with a bear (Bart the Bear), no significant meetings with residents of the forest tree with a very high level of absurdity is increasingly making its chaotic Without a Paddle.
Create a trio of key players and actor who is familiar with the young American public, Green, Lillard and Shepard (familiar events through MTV Punk'd Ashton Kutcher), this film might fit with them or for the consumption of teenagers there. For young children who want to relax, Without a Paddle to be able to comfort them, could even be having intentions or a similar experience with his films.
But, frankly this movie is too boring to follow. The mission and purpose of Brill and writer team apparently fouled by a variety of ridiculous scenes are not funny, until the dialogues are sometimes boring and many pauses that disrupt the storyline.

Guided Mouse-Ille Subtitled "Science on a Wet Afternoon", this space-age cartoons takes place on a faraway planet in the year 2565 AD. Science-happy Jerry sends a robot mouse out to capture some cheese, but Tom is alerted to this theft-in-progress by an elaborate laser device. Tom summons forth a robot cat, who chases the mouse all over a futuristic house. For the bulk of the cartoon, Tom and Jerry are essentially reduced to mere button-pushers and plug-pullers as their various electronic devices do most of the dirty work--though Tom still manages to get plenty of lumps on his own, especially during the "de-evolutionary" finale. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi Rock 'n' Rodent Just as Tom settles down to sleep at 10 AM, Jerry arises from his slumbers and sets off to Le Cellare Smoke, a beatnik bistro located within the walls of the house. After downing a cheese martini, Jerry hunkers down to a hot drumming session with an all-mouse jazz combo. Aroused by the noise, Tom intends to put an end to the revelry; alas, his various strategies backfire, incurring the wrath of a neighboring bulldog. Finally, Jerry's combo wraps up its set and heads home. . .but if Tom thinks he's finally going to get some shut-eye, he's got another think coming. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi O Solar Meow We open on a missile base, where a consignment of supplies, including an enormous piece cheese, is being launched to an orbiting space station. Monitoring the shipment via closed-circuit TV is "space mouse" Jerry, who effortlessly steals the cheese. Tom, in charge of space-station security, chases after Jerry with latest in electronic equipment, including a robotic cat--which, alas, is even less effective than the stuff Wile E. Coyote used to purchase from the ACME company. Not only is Jerry able to elude capture, but he also uses a a mini-jetpack to antagonize Tom. The final sequence finds Tom sending Jerry into orbit--but it's the mouse rather than the cat who has the last laugh. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi |

The Sorcerer's Apprentice The Movie - The National Treasure team reunites for this Fantasia-inspired adventure

Super producer Jerry Bruckheimer has spent much of the last decade to create some of the biggest blockbusters of the Disney family, but his track record is not flawless. The massive flop that was "Prince of Persia", Bruckheimer has had a very successful career around what is essentially the same generic adventure movie, only with unusual characters and backgrounds.
His last team with "National Treasure" director Jon Turteltaub is no different, but even if it follows the same basic formula to other products Bruckheimer, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is a slice of fun entertainment that is filled escape with the kind Creativity Disney was known for.
The film opens in 740 AD, when the evil witch named Morgana (Alice Krige) killed Merlin, when one of his trainees, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), turns against him. But when his students - Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) and Veronica (Monica Bellucci), - deal with Horvath and lock the witch, Morgana in a Russian nesting doll named Grimhold, Merlin give Balthazar immortality so that he can trace the Merlinian first, powerful descendant of the wizard and the only one capable of defeating Morgana once and for all.
Fast forward to 2010, and Balthazar have finally found the man Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), brilliant physics student who is hired by NYU Balthazar, becoming his apprentice and accept his position as a witch before Horvath may exempt Morgana and destroy the world.

Inspired by the famous run from classic Disney animation, "Fantasia" - a sequence that is really fun recreated in the movie – "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" does not really give too many surprises that the fans of Bruckheimer films others have not seen before, but it is a fun ride anyway.
Even if it takes some time for the greatest adventure begin - with the aforementioned Arthur prologue, which is a second prologue set in 2000 that the first meeting with Dave details Balthazar – that is the time where Baruchel finally introduced, the film becomes less on vague back story and more on the character and the sight of their magical abilities.
Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel is a good team together, with Cage playing straight man to perfection driven down-to-business, which can only be a little nutty from spending the last millennium seeks the Chosen One.
It isn't certainly the best work in recent years. Alfred Molina is also a strong competitor in the cage, but he is always overshadowed his students (played by Toby Kebbell), Criss Angel, the magician celebrity that seems ridiculous as it sounds.
